The Applied Materials CENTURA POLYCIDE is a semiconductor processing system designed for depositing and annealing polycide films in the manufacturing of integrated circuits. Polycide refers to a combination of a polycrystalline silicon (polysilicon) layer and a metal silicide layer, typically tungsten silicide (WSix).
