Overview

The Keysight 81682A is a C-Band tunable laser source optimized for testing optical amplifiers and passive components within a wavelength range of 1460nm to 1580nm. It offers a maximum output power of 8dBm, with an absolute wavelength accuracy of ± 0.01nm and typical repeatability of ± 0.5pm. Key features include a continuous wavelength sweep, high-power output, integrated real-time wavelength meter, mode-hop free tuning, and polarization maintaining fiber outputs. This model has been superseded by the 81682B but is eligible for upgrades.
