The two new standards are around malware-free equipment integration and guidelines for computer operating systems and other technologies in equipment.

German chipmaker Infineon prepared to handle increased competition from China, CEO says

In preparation for increased competition out of China, Infineon recently completed its takeover of U.S. company Cypress last month and reported a loss of 128 million euros for its fiscal third quarter.

Lisa Su Receives the Robert N. Noyce Award

In Short: AMD’s president and CEO Dr. Lisa Su has been named the 2020 recipient of the SIA’s highest honor, the Robert N. Noyce Award. This award recognizes a leader who has made outstanding contributions to the semiconductor industry in technology or public policy.
