Versamet 4 is a new inverted metallurgical microscope designed to support a variety of observation methods including brightfield, brightfield/darkfield, polarized light and DIC. This versatile and configurable microscope is widely applied in metallurgy, smelt, heat treatment, raw material inspection, material processing, food safety evaluation, medical/clinical testing and geological testing applications.

The advanced LWD M Infinity Plan Achromatic optics provide outstanding image resolution and clarity, while the ergonomic viewing head and low-position focus knobs and stage controls offer stable and comfortable operation. The smart ECO system saves energy by automatically turning the illuminator off when the microscope is not in use. Digital capabilities make the Versamet 4 Series an outstanding choice for today’s modern metallurgist.

VERSAMET 4

The Unitron Versamet 4 inverted metallurgical microscope is a solid robust microscope for metallurgy, smelt, heat treatment, raw material inspection, material processing, food safety evaluation, medical/clinical testing, and geological testing applications. The microscope comes standard with a trinocular viewing head and 10x/22mm FOV eyepieces. Also included are infinity M LWD Plan Achromat 5x, 10x, 20x, and semi-apo 50x objectives. The microscope is quipped with an encoded nosepiece and an ECO infrared sensor which helps save energy turning the microscope light off when not in use. To help reduce glare and reflection a simple polarizer and analyzer are included. 

You can choose to have an 11.6" retina display screen above the eyepieces to view, capture images / videos to a removable SD card, or replay images / videos. In addition you can also output directly to a PC. If you do not select the screen, you can still output HDMI to your own screen off to the side, or USB to a computer. The screen serves as an all-in-one streamlined solution. The included camera is a powerful tool that can output HDMI to any monitor or USB to a computer. In HDMI mode on-board software pops up on your screen allowing you to control the camera with the included mouse. The camera can also output to a PC for use with the free feature rich software -  image / video capture, measurements, extended depth of focus, annotations, stitching, and more!
